The Holy Spirit like the Wind (Jn. 3:1~13)

바람 같은 성령 (요 3:1-13)

 

Genesis 1:2 says, “Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” When the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of God hovered, the third dimensional material world that is formless and empty and filled with darkness was changed into a good place in God’s eyes.

창세기 1장 2절을 보면 “땅이 혼돈하고 공허하며 흑암이 깊음 위에 있고 하나님의 영은 수면 위에 운행하시니라”라고 말씀합니다. 하나님의 영이신 성령께서 운행하시니 혼돈하고 공허하며 흑암이 가득한 3차원의 물질세계가 하나님 보시기에 좋은 곳으로 변화된 것입니다.

 

 

1. The Holy Spirit who brings change and creation

1. 변화와 창조를 가져오시는 성령님

 

1) If you look in John, Jesus described the Holy Spirit as the wind. Jesus said to Nicodemus, “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)

1) 요한복음을 보면 예수님께서도 성령님을 바람으로 묘사하셨습니다. 예수님께서는 니고데모에게 “바람이 임의로 불매 네가 그 소리는 들어도 어디서 와서 어디로 가는지 알지 못하나니 성령으로 난 사람도 다 그러하니라”(요 3:8)라고 말씀하셨습니다.

 

2) The wind is invisible and untouchable. Even though the Holy Spirit is invisible, He is always with us and brings changes and creation in our life.

2) 바람은 우리 눈에 보이지 않고 손에 잡히지 않습니다. 성령님은 우리 눈에 보이지 않지만, 늘 우리와 함께하시면서 우리 삶에 변화와 창조를 가져오시는 분입니다.

 

 

2. The Holy Spirit who leads and helps us

2. 우리를 이끄시고 도우시는 성령님

 

1) Although the Holy Spirit is invisible like the wind, He is always with us.

1) 성령님은 마치 바람과 같이 우리 눈에 보이지는 않지만 항상 우리와 함께 계십니다.

 

2) Changes and creation of life do not come with man’s strength. When we acknowledge, welcome, and invite the Holy Spirit, He will work, and the works of changes and creation in our life will come.

2) 삶의 변화와 창조는 사람의 힘으로 되는 것이 아닙니다. 성령님을 인정하고 환영하고 모셔 들이면, 성령께서 역사하셔서 우리 삶에 변화와 창조의 역사가 다가옵니다.

 

 

3. Be filled with the Holy Spirit through prayer

3. 기도로 성령의 충만함을 받으라

 

1) In order to receive the help of the Holy Spirit, we must pray fervently. Romans 8:26 says, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.” When we pray, the Holy Spirit works and brings wonders and miraculous signs.

1) 성령의 도우심을 얻기 위해서는 뜨겁게 기도해야 합니다. 로마서 8장 26절은 “이와 같이 성령도 우리의 연약함을 도우시나니 우리는 마땅히 기도할 바를 알지 못하나 오직 성령이 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 우리를 위하여 친히 간구하시느니라”라고 말씀합니다. 우리가 기도할 때 성령께서 역사하시고 기사와 이적을 베풀어 주십니다.

 

2) If the wind of the Holy Spirit blows, the works of life are revealed in places where there is death. The wind of the Holy Spirit blows away sins, transgressions, diseases, curses, and death and fills the life of God within us.

2) 성령의 바람이 불면 죽음이 있는 곳에 생명의 역사가 나타납니다. 성령의 바람은 죄와 허물과 질병과 저주와 죽음을 날려 버리고 우리 안에 하나님의 생명을 채워 주십니다.

 

 

Conclusion

The wind of the Devil is the wind of death. The wind of the Holy Spirit is the wind of life that saves all things. Therefore, we must pray fervently so that the wind of the Holy Spirit blows in individuals, families, societies, and countries. Then, individuals, families, countries and people will live within the Lord.

마귀의 바람은 죽음의 바람이지만, 성령의 바람은 모든 것을 살리는 생명의 바람입니다. 그러므로 우리는 성령의 바람이 개인과 가정과 이 사회와 나라에 불도록 간절히 기도해야 합니다. 그러할 때 주 안에서 개인이 살고 가정이 살고 나라와 민족이 살게 되는 것입니다.
